Dear Walk Israel Participants,

We are writing you with heavy hearts as we will be postponing Walk Israel 2020.

We have built an incredible community, and we are excited for to hike our final part of the Israel National Trail. This year, we were meant to make our way to Jerusalem, Israel’s capital city and the heart of our people. Walk Israel 2020 was a highly anticipated event and a jewel among Keren Hayesod’s centennial celebrations.

Unfortunately, due to the unforeseen circumstances brought on by the global pandemic, we have made the difficult decision to delay Walk Israel 2020. We have explored all possible avenues for convening the hike under the current safety regulations. Yet, Israel’s borders remain closed to tourists. Additionally, current requirements make it next to impossible for us to deliver the program in a safe and fun way.

We still intend to conquer the last portion of the Walk Israel trail. We hope that the situation will improve in Israel and around the world and that we will be able to reunite in better times.

We are offering three options for those who pre-paid their registration fees.
Your deposit:
1. Can be refunded
2. Can be held for next year, 2021
3. Can be used as a donation to Youth Futures, a Keren Hayesod-supported project that the Walk Israel community supports.

Next year’s Walk Israel is intended to take place between October 17-22, 2021. We will update you when the registration period opens.
